This service is designed to support the academic and clinical needs of students, faculty, staff, researchers, and clinicians of Thomas Jefferson University and Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals. Requests should be directly related to Jefferson coursework, research, or clinical need. Occasionally, library staff may seek clarification of requests. Library staff reserve the right to cancel any request for any reason.
While Scott Memorial Library subsidizes the majority of the cost, a small fee may be required. A fee is only charged if we must get the item from another library. There is no charge to have items scanned from the Scott Library's print collection.
Yes. We will deliver items electronically whenever possible. You will be notified when the PDF can be downloaded from ILLiad. If you need an entire print book, we may be able to FedEx it to your address. To return it, simply ship it back before the due date using the same box it arrived in. A pre-paid return shipping label will be included with the book.
